Emphasizing effort and achievement positively benefits some individuals. A prime example is found in the United States, where children are famously encouraged to pursue their dreams, regardless of how ambitious or unrealistic they might be. Those who achieve success often become role models, demonstrating the value of striving for one's goals. Notable figures such as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, Warren Buffet, and Will Smith are testaments to this ethos. These individuals frequently share motivational messages about the importance of passion and perseverance in achieving remarkable success. 


Despite these success stories, they represent exceptions rather than the norm. Believing that anyone can achieve anything through sheer willpower can damage the self-esteem of the average person.
